After each mock, split analysis into three buckets: questions you should never miss, questions you skipped due to time, and questions beyond your prep level. The first bucket deserves immediate correction drills.
Compare your time per section against the test’s recommended pacing. If quant consumes extra minutes, practice shorter sets with stricter timers before attempting full mocks again.
Percentiles fluctuate with the crowd taking that specific test. Focus on trends across five or more mocks rather than one outlier. Consistent improvement in accuracy almost always lifts percentiles over time.
Cohort effects
A 90 percentile on an easy paper may require fewer raw marks than one on a hard paper—compare your accuracy trend, not only rank.
Sectional cutoffs
If your exam uses sectional minimums, model them in Excel: even a strong total fails when one section sits below the line.
